First: What you are paying for...

There are many services the ministry performs. We have literally hundreds of hours of audio sermons and teachings available for free download via my main teaching site at Lazarusunbound.com. Virtually 100% of the material that is provided from the ministry is available somewhere online for free, including the early versions of all my books. The books are more refined versions that you can hold in your hands, give away, or study, but the teachings in them are, and have been, made available first for free via the ministry. In addition to The Michael Bunker Radio Show, wherein I make myself available for 2 hours a week for any questions about theology, doctrine, off-grid living, life, etc., we do provide information and help to people around the world via email and numerous other outlets. I spend several hours of every day responding to internet questions, emails, etc.

While all of that is going on, we are building a prototype off-grid farm and community to help modern people understand the ways and means of living a God-centered life separate from the world system of the enemy of our souls. Twice a year, we invite anyone who wants to to come and visit and tour farm and community. During Fall and Spring Ranchfests, people can travel here and hang out with us for a week, asking questions, working, and seeing how things are done.

Twice a year, leading up to our Ranchfest, I shift into fundraising mode in order to pay for the project and expenses of having people come and visit to help build our prototype off off-grid projects.

This means that we are constantly working on the farm and on projects that will be used to help actually DISPLAY the principles I taught in the Surviving Off Off-Grid book.

I also serve as a minister and pastor to our community here in Central Texas, and - as best as I can with the distances involved - I serve in this capacity to hundreds of friends all over the world.

From all of this I take no salary. I do not accept "tithes" as they are understood in modern religion. The ministry, farm, etc. survives (and barely so) on donations from people who support the work, and who recognize it's absolute uniqueness, and who want to see others helped along the way. We receive regular donations from a very small handful of people, and random donations from individuals from all over. The group here is unable to support a preacher, so they do donate a few days of labor here and there, but otherwise I work on the farm and in writing books to support my family, ministry, and work. We are thankful to those who, seeing the value and benefit of such a strange and contrarian ministry in the world today, do regularly and generously "communicate" (come along side, as partners, to carry the load) with me and the ministry. Thousands of people are benefited by those donations.

I have a FRIENDSLIST email list of friends who I do inform of our needs and projects. I also occasionally will post specific project needs here on the blog. But we are the most thankful for those who do decide to donate regularly to the work being done here.
