6/7/10 - 2nd Day - Afternoon. Greetings y'all, We had an amazing million dollar rain just as we finished work on First Wednesday workday last week. We had replanted the field in beans last Monday, and things didn't look good. It hadn't had rains for almost 3 weeks, with near 100 temps every day. The rain was very welcome, and now the beans are up and on their way. Pray for more rain for us. There is a small percentage in the forecast for tomorrow.
Still not enough money to buy batteries, so we are still without power and internet.
We had another heifer calf, praise God! Luciana dropped her first calf this week.
We also brought in the garlic crop, and it turned out much better than I had expected. I'll report further on it soon, Lord willing.
Just heard yesterday morning that the Dahl's (Kris and Suann) had a little baby boy yesterday, so all of us here on the ranch are praising God for the great blessing and for the increase of the tribe.
Hope to put together a podcast tomorrow, so y'all stay tuned.
