As you can see, the jam is absolutely delicious. Great job, Danielle!
Ok, so here is an update on the solar trailer battery replacement project. We have received a few donations for replacing the batteries on the solar trailer, but unhappily the money trickled in slowly and when that happens, and when not enough comes in to step out and conquer the project, the money gets spent on other emergencies and necessities. So here is what we're going to try next...
The GET A LOAD OF CENTRAL TEXAS project!
We are going to put together a Central Texas care package and we are going to send them to whoever can send a $100 donation for solar trailer battery replacement. Here is what your care package will include:
1. Central Texas Mesquite Coffee - Delicious, rare, and almost impossible to find.
2. Homemade Central Texas Blackberry Jam - just look at the pictures above. That could be you.
3. Some of the best gourmet garlic you have ever tasted (don't eat it, though, unless you just don't want to plant it! Better to plant the cloves this fall.)
4. A CD with the latest version of our fellowship singing the psalms.
If you can donate more than $200 your package will be even more loaded with goodies, and we will include some Central Texas wine.
A $500 donation will include all of the above, plus all of the available podcasts on CD, and a botttle each of our Agarito and Blackberry wine shipped separately when it is available in the fall.
The trick is, all of this has to get here as soon as possible, and hopefully all at the same time. You can't just buy a few batteries and add on later. All the batteries have to be purchased at one time. So in order to get this thing to work, you'll need to get the check out immediately.
All of this is "while supplies last", and your package contents may vary with availability. It'll all be great stuff, though.
As always, this cannot be part of your "normal" or regular donations if you are one of our few but appreciated regular donors.
Please note on your check that this is for the "Get a load of Central Texas" offer. If you do not note that you want one of the above offers, then we will not know, and you probably won't get the goodies. If you want your Mesquite Coffee lightly roasted, unroasted, burnt black, unground, or any special thing like that, you'll have to let us know. Otherwise it'll be roasted and ground the way I like it. The garlic will be for fall planting, but should store well until next spring if you don't put it in the fridge or get it too cold. Look up and read about "storing garlic" online.
Ok, go write the check and get it in the mail and I'll go record a new podcast for you. Send checks to:

Wow Michael- you've actually got a "staff" now to handle your complaints! Aint you cool! I would have directed them to the virtual moonshot by Bart Simpson. Hope you get a good response this time.
A little something is on the way but please don't post pictures of yourself anymore....we'll pay whatever to stop that pain ;)
